Rotary dryers are widely used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement industry to dry materials such as slag, limestone, coal powder, slag, clay, etc. The mining dryer mainly consists of rotating parts, lifting plates, transmission devices, support devices, and sealing rings. It has the advantages of reasonable structure, excellent production, high yield, low energy consumption, and convenient operation.

1.High drying efficiency
The rotary dryer adopts intermittent drying, and the materials will not be affected by external shocks and vibrations during the drying process. Moreover, the drying time of the materials can be adjusted according to needs, which can achieve high efficiency drying.
2.Low energy consumption
The thermal energy utilization rate of the rotary dryer is relatively high because the equipment uses residual heat to heat the air internally, without requiring more energy for heating. At the same time, the structural design of the rotary dryer is relatively reasonable, making it have high heat transfer efficiency and heat transfer area, thereby reducing energy consumption.
3. Easy to operate and low maintenance cost
The rotary dryer has the advantages of simple operation and low maintenance cost. There is no need to set up special facilities and auxiliary equipment inside the equipment, and the maintenance workload is also relatively small. Meanwhile, compared to other types of drying equipment, the maintenance cost of the equipment is also relatively low.

Materials was transported to the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enter into the feed end through the feeding tube by the hopper feeder. Slope of the feeding pipe must be greater than the natural angle of material so that the materials can flow into the sand dryer. Dryer cylinder forms a slightly tilted with the horizontal. Material was added from the higher to form reflux with the heat carrier entered from low-end. Sometimes, heat carrier flows into the cylinder together with the material. With the rotating of drum, material run to the lower end by gravity. In the moving process, wet materials obtain the heat input of heat carrier directly and indirectly to be dried, then, the finished materials are sent out by belt conveyor or screw conveyor.
