Chute feeder is a reciprocating feeding equipment, which is an earlier type of feeding equipment used for ore storage tank discharge. The actions of the feeding plate include forward and backward reciprocating movement, shaking type, and swinging type. The transmission mechanisms are all crank rotary, with a variety of models and wide applications. Chute feeder is suitable for industrial departments such as metallurgy, mining, engineering, construction, mineral processing, coal, etc. It transports block materials from storage silos to receiving devices (not suitable for conveying materials in powder state).

This equipment is generally installed at the lower part of the discharge port of the silo, where the ore falls into the leakage plate at the bottom of the tank. The bottom leakage plate is set on the roller and connected to the double output shaft reducer through an eccentric mechanism. Then, it is connected to the motor through a coupling. During operation, the reducer is driven by an electric motor through a coupling, and the eccentric disc and the leakage disc between the bottom of the slot frame and the roller of the equipment move back and forth in a straight line to achieve uniform feeding.
